"If you have anxiety, this is an awesome office. I am someone who has a hard time with coming into the dentist to begin with, so having to come here for a root canal was already stressful. The office staff is kind and supportive. The doctor is amazing and so gentle. Constantly checking in to make sure you're ok. They don't make you feel weird at all for asking for the nitrous gas. All around lovely people, if this was a traditional dentist office I would happily make the one hour drive for routine cleaning/maintenance."

From the moment I scheduled my appointment to the time I checked out after my procedure, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional.Megan and Cat, the assistants during my visit, were exceptional. They checked on me throughout the appointment, made sure I was comfortable, and even gave me gentle, reassuring taps during the numbing process, which helped calm my nerves. Dr. Collier was so gentle when administering the anesthetic that it was completely painless.This was my very first root canal, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team made what I expected to be a stressful procedure feel easy and comfortable. I was offered a cozy blanket, got to watch a TV show of my choice, and they took the time to explain each step of the process, which really helped put me at ease.I highly recommend Dr. Collier and the entire staff. "Had a root canal done by Dr. Collier yesterday, and I can not say enough good things about my experience. The moment I walked in the door I was kindly greeted, and was back in the chair in no time. Dr. Collier and his assistant were so nice and calm, which helped me a lot because I am terrified of any kind of dental work. From start to finish I had no pain or discomfort at all. Not even the numbing shots! Today I have zero pain from the procedure. Unreal! I will definetly be going back if I need to.Edit: This same tooth was giving me issues, and Dr Collier and his staff worked me in immediately and took care of the issue. "Today was surreal. I'd never had a root canal before and was a bit apprehensive. However, everything about my visit here was superb. The building, itself, hasn't been there long (probably about a half decade, because I remember it being built). Their waiting area looks like something out of Rodeo Drive. I was sort of concerned I'd walked into the wrong office, it was so bougie!The ladies at the front desk were all sweet and accommodating and their quote was spectacular compared to what I'd heard elsewhere. They handed me something like a survey that asked if I'd want a pillow, blanket, which TV channel I wanted during my visit, etc. It was the best customer service I could've imaged.When I got back to the room where I had the procedure, there were huge windows with a beautiful view from the 2nd floor and the lady who assisted the endodontist, as well as he, himself, were extremely professional. They both spoke in super soothing voices and clearly worked well together. She brought me a blanket and a pillow and put on the Food Network.He kept saying, "You're so brave!" which was sweet and actually made me nostalgic like I was 8 yrs old about to get a lollipop at the dentist's. 🤣They numbed me up and got to drillin' (actually had to ask for more numbing agent, my tooth just didn't wanna cooperate).It wasn't long before the whole thing was over and I was on my way. Cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience. Look, I don't wanna have to have another root canal anytime soon, but if I have to, I know exactly where I'm headed!"

"The entire experience was great! I was catching up on a lot of dental services that I kept putting off so when I found out that I had to get a root canal, I was extremely nervous - especially considering that it was my first root canal ever. The lovely employees of Cornerstone Endodontics made this the smoothest process ever. While i waited, I was offered a blanket and some water. Between the blanket and the nice ambiance in the room, I fell asleep 😂 Lesly is so sweet. She stayed by my side and kept me calm the entire time - she never left my side. She is incredible 🥰 Everything about the process was explained in great detail. I wasn’t in any pain, even afterwards. The next day, they called, checked in and made sure I was doing okay. I am thoroughly impressed! 10/10 across the board"

"My first experience with Cornerstone Endodontics began when I stepped inside their beautiful office. I felt as if I was walking into an upscale spa. I was immediately welcomed by the kindest ladies who directed me through registration. I was pleasantly surprised to find in the registration pack: a questionnaire that addressed my comfort during my visit – would I like a blanket, a pillow, a drink, a specific television station, gas, … I was quickly called back after registration was completed – no waiting. My “hostess,” (Madison), was much more than a dental assistant. She went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. Dr. Collier performed the root canal with the utmost care. Cat and Leslie put my anxiety to rest and wasted no time in trying to accommodate simple pleasantries of comfort by offering a blanket, pillow to help me relax and get ready for the procedure. They also exercised professionalism when assisting the skills of Dr. John Collier. Dr Collier was awesome. He informed me of the procedure and what to expect so a positive outcome could be achieved. I felt no pain the entire procedure and even watched a nature video which was a good distraction for my mindset. Afterward I was given a card for a complimentary smoothie. Now who else does that? "I went in to get a root canal and it was great. I'm not over exaggerating one bit. 1st off that office was cute and smells delightful...I need to ask what that scent was. The ladies at the front desk were kind and complemented me on my Super Mario hoodie. They give you this card to ask how they can make you more comfortable during your visit that included headphones, a blanket, pillow, your after service beverage choice, and more. I've NEVER seen that before! His dental assistant was kind, funny, and sweet (we were watching Shang Chi on Disney plus 🤩). Her pats during numbing about put me to sleep. It's a great calming sensory diversion. And, Dr. John was so sweet, kind, and gentle. He kept asking if it hurt and it actually didn't...like at all. The only bad part was the smell when you are getting your teeth drilled, but that's a me problem🤣. Oh, and at the end they have this jar at the front desk with the good chapstick (moisturizing with shine not creamy white that looks like you dipped your smackers in elmers glue) for your crusty after dental service lips, AND they gave me a card for a free 16 oz. smoothie at Tropical Smoothie up the street and it was Deeelicious. The care, concern, and attention to detail is top tier!!! I've worked as Executive Customer Service Leadership in some of the largest companies in the world and don't say that lightly. That is an awesome team you've curated there and one of the best medical adventures I've ever had. Thank you for fixing me and good luck to you all!"

But I’ve never had a root canal done at Cornerstone until now. I wish all of my previous experiences have been like this one.The moment I entered the office I was made to feel comfortable. I was greeted with smiles and conversation at check-in and was given a form to complete which asked for my preferences in ways they could make me more comfortable. What a novel idea! “Would I like a pillow and a blanket? Which beverage is my preference after the procedure? What television show would I like to watch during the procedure? “etc..Doctor Collier and his assistant were skilled and thorough and kind throughout the whole procedure. And then afterwards they gave me a coupon for a free smoothie.I never want to need another root canal, but if I do, I will only have it done here at Cornerstone!"

Still no issues. Dr. Collier is the best. Was very nice. Still haven’t had any issues with my tooth. Didn’t even have pain after my procedure. However, I moved to a new city where patients are just a number. I am in excruciating pain and pretty sure I will need a root canal. I wish I was still back home in Alabama to visit this practice."

"I have never had a root canal and was very nervous. From the beginning they made the whole experience pleasant. I was able to fill out online forms prior to my visit and they called the before with an estimate so I knew what I was paying. When I arrived the atmosphere was calming. They gave me a card to fill out with preferences ie, did I want a blanket, pillow, or ear buds, what type of TV I prefer, and my anxiety and pain levels. The rooms lights were dim, calming music was playing, and everyone was soft spoken. They told me what to expect, what they were doing as they did it, made sure I was as comfortable as could be during a root canal, very clear post op, gave me meds and even called the day after. They included a card for a free smoothie. My mother went and she coughed alittle and they offered her some water, the waiting room chairs were very comfortable. I drove from Millbrook (about 1.5 hours) and would recommend this place to anyone needing a root canal. So many people told me they had horrible experiences when getting one, but Cornerstone and Dr Collier are top notch."

I needed something quick and they called me that day for a cancellation, saving me 2 weeks of misery. The office was luxuriously nice and the staff were above and beyond friendly. Lots of ways to customize the visit to be comfortable. The procedure was really efficient too…most of my wait time was letting the numbing agent work. Even then, the tech (Madison) stayed with me and watched Food Network while we had a lovely conversation. I have anxiety and swallowing issues really bad especially when it comes to things going in my mouth other than that of food or whatever I put in there. I don’t think I would have made it without the use of the laughing gas. It would have taken longer to complete the procedure without it. It’s probably common practice with this clinic to place a device in one’s mouth to help keep it open with something attached to catch the particles from the procedure. This way there was no need for constant water and a suction tube to stay in the mouth. It made me feel so secure. This truly was a blessing for me because of the swallowing issues. If ever I need such services like that of which this clinic provides I will return without hesitation. However I do pray that this was the only time. The entire staff in this office was very nice. The clinic has a friendly atmosphere. If and when asked by anyone to recommend such a facility I will tell them my overall experience and refer them directly to this facility. "Dr Collier is an excellent Endontist. I woke up in the middle of the night with a throbbing toothache. I called Cornerstone and they got me in immediately. Turned out the offending tooth had a root canal already which complicates the situation. It was a very old root canal but he didn’t want to re-treat it while inflamed. He adjusted my bite so the offending tooth wasn’t hitting and gave me a medrol dose pack script and antibiotics. The tooth felt better immediately and the steroids helped to quickly reduce the inflammation and swelling. The throb went away and it feels much better. After I finish the antibiotics and steroids he’s going to re-treat the root canal. It will be just like an original root canal but probably not as painful since the nerves have already been removed. The tooth will subsequently get a crown and I should be set. Excellent staff, beautiful modern office and a pleasant experience all around."

I had a blanket, they offered pillows and program choices on the tv and drink options…. Truthfully I told someone about it and said, if I was not there for a root canal and super nervous, it would’ve felt like I was waiting to go into a spa room.The staff are so friendly and welcoming and Dr. Collier was so great! Well, I walked in and the staff was welcoming and said the building had been prayed over that morning. I knew I was in the right place. Payton was my dental assistant and she was kind, patient and respected my anxiety. She constantly reassured me all would be okay and never left my side. Dr. Collier was an absolute joy and breath of fresh air as he spoke calmly and constantly asked was I okay as he performed my root canal. We even had some fun banter as they worked to get my temporary crown back on. I left with detailed instructions for after care and they called the following morning to see how I felt. "Wonderful experience here! Like so many others, I have really bad dental anxiety. I came for a consultation appt. first with Dr. Collier after not having a great experience with another endodontist which had greatly added to my anxiety. The previous office was not able to fully numb me and had caused some pain when attempting to start the procedure so I was terrified that I would have the same luck and have a painful experience. This was my first root canal. I had expressed to him my concerns and he was so kind and calmly reassured me. I had my root canal yesterday and it was better than I could have imagined. All of the staff is so friendly and really goes above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable. My dental assistant was Kayla and she could not have been more sweet. As soon as Dr. Collier came into the room he had remembered my concerns and addressed them before I could even ask him. He said they were going to take care of me and they did. My procedure was painless and comfortable. During the whole procedure Dr. Collier and Kayla kept checking on me asking how I was doing.
