Dr. John Collier, a native of Ozark, AL, earned his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Samford University in 1991. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1995, where he was honored with the Operative Award for excellence in operative dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Collier completed his postgraduate training in endodontics at the same institution in 1997.

He also participates in local dental leadership through the Birmingham District Dental Society and stays connected with his alma mater as a member of the UA School of Dentistry Alumni Association.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Collier serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where he helps train and mentor future dental professionals.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Collier enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Julie, and their three children — John Jr., Katherine, and Elizabeth. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and exercising. He is a proud member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church.

Absolutely great experience. I was super nervous and they made the whole experience easy . Madison was fabulous and stayed with me the entire appointment! They are the best.
Dr. Collier and Sarah made my whole procedure comfortable and painless. Even after the numbness wore off, I experienced very slight discomfort that night! I never thought I would say “my root canal was great!” I highly recommend Cornerstone and if I have to have another procedure like this one, I will definitely go there!
